The ice is finally out.  The Pioneer on Long Lake is getting ready for a great season.  The water is turned on for all our cabins, RV sites, tent sites, and seasonals.  We are working on getting out docks out.  Right now we have 4 that are ready to be used.  Like always you have a few set backs, but we will get through them. 

Don’t forget about our daily specials.  Every Wednesday’s we have 5 dollar burgers (except the Double burger) and Saturday’s 2.00 off 12 and 16 inch pizzas.

Well well….we are only 5 days away from fishing opener.  Everyone is trying to figure out if there is still going to be ice on the lake.  The last time that there was ice on the lake during the opener was 1904.  The ice that year didn’t go out that year until the 11th of May.  Wonder if we are going to make a record ice out this year.  I sure hope not. 

But just to give an update on Sunday this past weekend, we had people ice fishing and they were riding their 4-wheelers on the lake.  The info that I got from them was that there was still 22 inches of ice.

The bar has been very busy throughout the winter and it has kept everyone hopping! We are getting excited for summer to come.
